Stunt & Action Industry Directory

An independent, unranked guide to France's stunt and screen-action world — the cascadeur tradition that gave the world the Yamakasi and a century of mechanical, equestrian and combat craft. Here you'll find the national film agency and the artists' union that represents cascadeurs as intermittents du spectacle, the professional stunt teams and coordinators working French and international features, and the cascade schools that train the next generation. No sponsorships, no rankings.

CNC

The national film commission, integrated into the CNC, promoting shooting and post-production in France, coordinating the regional film-commission network, managing the international tax credit and a 21,000-plus location database. SFA-CGT

Syndicat français des artistes-interprètes

Performers' Union · France

The main French union for performing artists, affiliated to the FNSAC-CGT and the International Federation of Actors. Cascadeurs work as artistes-interprètes within the intermittents du spectacle system, and the SFA is the union that secured their specific unemployment cover and defends performers' agreements and pay. There is no currently-active dedicated cascadeur union, so the SFA is the relevant labour body.
