Stunt & Action Industry Directory
An independent, unranked guide to Brazil's stunt and screen-action world — the SATED performer unions that represent stunt workers (dublês), the national film regulator and São Paulo's film commission, and the stunt teams and training centres concentrated around São Paulo that supply action for film, television and Globo productions. No sponsorships, no rankings; just a working map of the industry.

Unions, Registers & Industry Bodies
ANCINE
Agência Nacional do Cinema
Federal Film Regulator · Brasília
The national regulator that promotes, regulates and supervises Brazil's film and audiovisual market, and administers the Fundo Setorial do Audiovisual (FSA). It is the body foreign productions (including those bringing in international stunt crews) must clear to film in Brazil — it sets the regulatory frame the whole sector works within, rather than registering individual performers.

Sindicato dos Artistas e Técnicos em Espetáculos de Diversões — SP
Performers' Union (DRT register) · São Paulo
The São Paulo branch of the SATED system (founded 1934). It issues the DRT professional registration required of artists and technicians, negotiates collective agreements (with a dedicated Audiovisual sector) and provides legal support. Stunt performers (dublês) fall under its representation in Brazil's largest production state.

Sindicato dos Artistas e Técnicos em Espetáculos de Diversões — RJ
Performers' Union · Rio de Janeiro
Rio's branch of SATED, with a dedicated Cinema and Audiovisual directorate. Rio is the home of TV Globo and much of Brazil's series and novela production, making SATED/RJ the relevant union body for stunt and action workers on those productions. A full network of state SATEDs (SATED-PE, SATED-RS and others) exists within the same system.

São Paulo Film Commission
Municipal Film Commission · São Paulo
The City of São Paulo's public film/audiovisual company, whose film commission centralises filming permits — including street closures and stunt/vehicle-action sequences in public spaces — and runs a Cash Rebate program. It maintains a public Catálogo de Profissionais e Serviços where stunt teams and action coordinators register and are found by productions. The gateway and permitting authority for action filming in the city.

Stunt Academy · Pirituba, São Paulo
One of Brazil's longest-referenced stunt academies, coordinated by Hélio Febrônio — running roughly 18-month weekend courses in rolls, falls, fire work, fight choreography and car stunts. Notable as the school where Action Kung Fu founder Gutemberg Lins trained. It operates via social media and word-of-mouth; no dedicated live website could be confirmed, so contact is best made through the São Paulo stunt community.
